In the corporate advisory field, our lawyers provide strategic and legal advice to a wide range of clients, including multinational and domestic companies (both listed and privately owned), Government owned entities, financial sponsors and high net worth individuals. We regularly work closely at board level and with senior management. Our experience extends across a wide range of styles and approaches and we have a market reputation for astute legal and commercial judgement, flexible thinking and achieving business outcomes.

As part of our work, we have extensive experience in project managing and advising on major acquisitions and dispositions, joint venture arrangements and other forms of investment (including both domestic and offshore investment), capital structure and corporate re-structuring, stock exchange listing requirements and governance arrangements and providing strategic input on dealings with competition authorities and regulators.

Regulated network industries

In our regulated network industries practice, we apply our specialist legal and economic experience to critical regulatory issues in network industries such as aviation, ports, rail, water and post. In particular, we assist clients in their dealings with sectoral regulators, competition authorities and governments. We also leverage our experience and understanding of regulation and competition law across these industries and across jurisdictions to both anticipate and limit the effect of economic regulation on clients' businesses.
