Jordan Cox, Solicitor

Since joining the firm in 2007, Jordan has provided research and advice across the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. In particular, he has been heavily involved with the regulatory communications environment, television and media regulation, intellectual property policy development, and next generation networks.

Jordan has worked for a wide variety of clients within the firm’s specialty areas, including telecommunications operators in New Zealand, Australia, and throughout the Asia-Pacific region, a multinational social network company, a national television broadcaster, an international search engine, and a large airline operator.

Jordan's studies at the University of Auckland involved extensive independent research, including an Honours dissertation, a media law research essay, and a supervised research paper on the competitive implications of a fibre network in New Zealand. He was awarded the Senior Prize in Law in 2008, and the Senior Prize in Management Studies in 2007.
