Korolyn Rouhani-Arani, Lawyer

Korolyn is a specialist telecommunications and new media lawyer, who advises telecommunications clients both domestically and internationally on a range of access, interconnection and regulatory matters.

Korolyn has recently been involved in:

  • advising Singapore Telecommunications Limited on: SingTel's successful bid to design and construct the passive infrastructure of the Singapore Next Generation National Broadband Network; the development of wholesale supply agreements; licensing matters; and, the development of submissions to the Singapore telecoms regulator on various issues, including next generation access issues and the IDA's review of the Telecom Competition Code;
  • advising du, the second licensed operator in the United Arab Emirates on interconnection matters, including the preparation of interconnection disputes with the incumbent operator, covering: the establishment of new points of interconnection; national roaming services in certain parts of the UAE; fibre and duct sharing; and, MPLS interconnection;
  • advising Commercial Radio Australia on the access regime for digital radio; and
  • advising telecommunications and other industry clients on privacy law issues.


Before joining Webb Henderson, Korolyn practiced as a lawyer in the Corporate, Communications and Technology group at Gilbert + Tobin.
