Kristel McMeekin, Lawyer

Kristel is a specialist competition and regulatory lawyer.  She holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Auckland. 

Her experience includes advising on the competition law aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other commercial arrangements as well as advising corporate clients on a range of restrictive trade practices issues.

Kristel has been involved in a number of successful applications for New Zealand Commerce Commission merger clearance and the successful resolution of Commerce Commission investigations into alleged cartel and market power conduct.

Before joining Webb Henderson in 2010, Kristel practised as a solicitor in Bell Gully's competition law team.
