Maggie is a specialist competition and regulatory lawyer.  She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Media from Macquarie University, Australia.

Her experience includes working for the UK Department of Health where she was involved in establishing a new internal competition body for the purposes of overseeing the introduction of competition principles within the National Health Service in England. This included assessing mergers, anti-competitive conduct, procurement disputes and misleading advertising within the health sector.

Maggie has also previously worked for the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, where she was extensively involved in assessing mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other commercial arrangements in industries including telecommunications and media. She was also involved in a range of restrictive trade practices matters, including a major cartel investigation which resulted in record penalties against the parties involved.
