Malcolm Webb, Partner
Malcolm is a senior corporate, commercial and regulatory lawyer.
Malcolm is one of the most experienced and well regarded telecommunications lawyers in the Asia Pacific region. He has been advising telecommunication clients for nearly 20 years on a range of important regulatory issues and corporate and commercial transactions. He advises operators, regulators, governments and other telecommunication clients around the world on these matters. His experience includes advising on next generation broadband projects, subsea cable arrangements, infrastructure sharing transactions, wholesale agreements, access to content and net neutrality issues, mobile termination rates, market liberalisation and complex procurement transactions.
Malcolm advises clients on major corporate and commercial transactions in a number of other sectors, including energy and infrastructure, broadcasting and transport. He also advises corporates and governments on complex technology projects.
His regulatory practice includes advising clients across the network industries on economic regulation and he provides competition law advice to clients throughout the Asia Pacific.
Malcolm is a past Chair of the Communications Law Committee of the International Bar Association. He has been recognised by The International Who's Who of Communications Regulatory Lawyers 2011 as one of the top twelve telecommunications lawyers in the world.
Before starting the predecessor firm to Webb Henderson in 2004, Malcolm was a senior partner at Bell Gully.
