Mitchell Cooper, Solicitor

Mitchell joined the firm in 2009 and has been involved in projects with key private and public sector clients in the areas of technology, media and telecommunications. He has worked extensively on matters concerning New Zealand's Ultra Fast Broadband initiative, on top of experience with clients operating in regulated industries. In addition, Mitchell has helped shape policy advice offered to Governments and major companies throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Laws and Arts (History) degree from the University of Auckland. While studying, he was the winner of the New Zealand Universities Mooting Competition. In March this year, Mitchell travelled to Washington DC to represent New Zealand at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, with the team ultimately finishing in the top ten in the world.
